I got to spend some time in New Hampshire today visiting my sister at her college. There was some snow on the ground there… not much, but it felt good to see some snow since it has officially been winter for over a month now. It was good to see my sister, too.
I’m still waiting for the first big snow storm of the year, but the weather forecast doesn’t look good for any significant snow for at least a week. It’s about time for snowmen, snowball fights, and snowshoeing.
So far, my podcasts have been moderately popular. At least people are listening to them, and that’s a good thing. I might do another one tomorrow.
Two years ago at this time, I came up with the idea to do a summer trip to photograph all the Major League Baseball stadiums. I started doing research on all the stadiums and teams, but then I saw a Travel Channel show that featured Arches National Park and my baseball stadium tour turned into a national parks tour. That was a fun month on the road and I ended up with some great pictures. The only stadium I went to was PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
Anyway, I’m reviving the stadium tour idea. I don’t know if I have enough time or resources to get it going for this summer, but if I can get the support of Major League Baseball then it could happen. The end result would be a book with photos and stories about each stadium, the fans, and the teams.
I’ll tell you more as I work out the details.
It’s Winter Somewhere
