I’m excited for many reasons right now. One of those reasons is that I got myself a spiffy new digital SLR camera with a snazzy telephoto lens. The picture you see in this post is a fairly average shot, but it’s cool because it shows off how close I can get to birds before they fly away in a panic. This bird is a Flicker which is in the woodpecker family (I think). I did some quick research today, and if I’m wrong I’ll post a correction asap.
I plan on posting a new podcast in the next day or so. Check back for that.
